To customize SMS ringtones, your iPhone must be jailbroken. The required software is 9 1 mobile assistant.

1: Select an intercepted MP3 music, and the time should not be too long, just within 35 seconds.

2: Open iTunes on your computer. Select a preference in the edit. Click "Import Settings" in the pop-up window, and select "AIFF Encoder" in the drop-down bar of the dialog box that pops up again. Press OK again.

6: Open 9 1 mobile assistant. Select "File Management" on the left. In this path, all sound files in the iPhone are: /System/Library/Audio/UISounds.

7:SMS-received 1. caf to SMS-received 6. caf are the six SMS ringtones that come with the mobile phone. Select a ringtone and rename the sound file we just converted according to its name. These two names must be exactly the same! Then copy the converted one into the blank space of the dialog box of 9 1 assistant. You will be prompted that there are two files with the same name. Do you want to overwrite them? You can choose "Yes". Ok, now let's start the file replacement. Note that the permissions should also be consistent with the original file!
