4. Candidate files: Currently, there are two forms of file transfer for new students. 5. Household registration transfer:

1. Candidates in Heilongjiang Province: According to the spirit of the documents of the Heilongjiang Provincial Public Security Department, new students in Heilongjiang Province do not go through household registration transfer procedures when enrolling.

2. Candidates from other provinces: It is up to the candidates to decide whether to transfer their household registration for freshmen from other provinces. Considering the convenience of employment dispatch after graduation, it is recommended that candidates with rural household registration in other provinces and urban household registration candidates in small and medium-sized cities do not plan to work in the place of original household registration after graduation. Candidates will move their household registration to Harbin Institute of Technology when registering. The household registration transfer certificate must be stamped with the special household registration seal of the local police station or the public security agency at or above the city or county level (replacing it with an official government seal is invalid).

Please bring your household registration transfer certificate and resident ID card with you when you register (candidates who do not want to move their household registration can just bring their resident ID card when registering). 7. Charge items:
