8, the families of soldiers in case of major diseases, major disasters and other changes, it is really necessary for me to maintain the normal life of the family, by the families of soldiers at the county level people's government departments in charge of the placement of retired soldiers, approved by the division (brigade) level or above the commander of the army to retire from active service.

9. For other reasons, it is not suitable to continue to serve in active service, and has been retired from active service with the approval of the command organs of units at or above the division (brigade) level.

The registration procedures for self-employed retired soldiers after returning to China include:

1, report to the competent department of resettlement of retired soldiers in the place where they join the army within 30 days after retirement.

2. With the retirement certificate, administrative letter of introduction, citizen ID card and special card for one-time retirement fee, the resettlement department will issue a letter of introduction, receive one-time economic subsidies, and register for free vocational education and skills training.
