What is it to disclose other people's private information, but publicly apologize?

Without the consent of others, publishing other people's privacy materials in written or oral form or making others' privacy public, thus causing damage to others' reputation, shall be punished as infringement of others' reputation right.

Reputation is directly related to the personal dignity of citizens and legal persons, and is the basic condition for civil subjects to carry out civil activities and even other social activities. The reputation of legal person represents the reputation of society, which is gradually formed in all the activities of legal person in a relatively long period of time, especially the reputation of enterprise legal person, which reflects the overall evaluation of its production and operation performance by society. The reputation of a legal person often has a great influence on its production, operation and economic benefits, and the right of reputation is an important personal right of a civil subject.

Therefore, in addition to our country's constitution, criminal law and some administrative regulations attach great importance to the protection of this right, Article 1 10 of the General Principles of Civil Law, while confirming that citizens and legal persons enjoy the right of reputation, also stipulates that it is forbidden to damage the reputation of citizens and legal persons by insulting or slandering.

Personality right of civil subject. Natural persons enjoy the right to life, body, health, name, portrait, reputation, honor, privacy and marital autonomy.

Legal persons and unincorporated organizations enjoy the right of name, reputation and honor.

Article 99 1 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC).

The personality right of the civil subject is inviolable. The personality right of a civil subject is protected by law, and no organization or individual may infringe upon it.

Article 1032 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC)

Right to privacy. Natural persons have the right to privacy. No organization or individual may infringe upon the privacy rights of others by spying, harassing, exposing or making public.

Privacy is the private space, private activities and private information that natural people live in peace and don't want to be known by others.

Article 1033 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC)

Invasion of privacy Unless otherwise provided by law or expressly agreed by the obligee, no organization or individual may commit the following acts:

(a) by telephone, SMS, instant messaging tools, e-mail, leaflets, etc. Disturb the private life of others;

(2) Entering, taking photos or peeping into other people's private spaces such as houses and hotel rooms;

(3) Shooting, peeping, eavesdropping or revealing other people's private activities;

(4) Shooting or peeping at the private parts of others' bodies;

(5) handling other people's private information;

(6) Infringe upon the privacy of others in other ways.
