The results of the 2023 law test will be released in September.

How to check judicial examination scores

SMS query - Candidates can customize the SMS score checking service during November. Expired orders will not be made. Candidates can send the "SFKS admission ticket number" to 0220056 (the phone number of the SMS service provider is not determined every year). Online query - Candidates please log in to the China Legal Popularization Network around November 20 of that year. Mailed Scores—Candidate transcripts and relevant requirements for score verification will be mailed to all candidates.

The main test contents of the examination include: theoretical law, applied law, current legal regulations, legal practice and legal professional ethics. The Legal Professional Qualification Examination adopts unified nationwide propositions and marking, and the results are announced by the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China.

Those who pass the examination will be issued relevant certificates by the Ministry of Justice, and can work as practicing lawyers, judges, prosecutors and notaries.

Personnel who serve as judges, prosecutors, lawyers, notaries, legal advisors, arbitrators, and government departments engaged in review of administrative penalty decisions, administrative reconsideration, and administrative rulings must pass the legal professional qualification examination. The annual passing rate of the National Judicial Examination is generally about 10% of the number of candidates nationwide.

Information for application of legal professional qualification certificate:

1. Original and copy of applicant’s ID card and academic certificate.

2. Notification of the applicant’s national judicial examination results for this year.

3. Written certification of no criminal offense issued by the public security organ.
