How to report prostitutes

Legal analysis: directly calling or writing an anonymous letter to report a case to the local public security organ is within the scope of acceptance by the public security organ. Prostitutes shall be detained for more than 10 and less than 15, and may be fined up to 5,000 yuan; If the circumstances are minor, they shall be detained for less than 5 days or fined for less than 500 yuan. Whoever solicits prostitutes in public places shall be detained for not more than five days or fined not more than 500 yuan.

Legal basis: Article 2 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Public Security Administration Punishment Law disturbs public order, endangers public safety, infringes personal rights and property rights, and hinders social management, which is socially harmful. If a crime is constituted according to the provisions of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law; If it is not serious enough for criminal punishment, the public security organ shall impose administrative penalties for public security in accordance with this law.

Article 66 A person who engages in prostitution or whoring shall be detained for more than 18 days and less than 15 days, and may also be fined less than 5,000 yuan; If the circumstances are minor, they shall be detained for less than 5 days or fined for less than 500 yuan. Whoever solicits prostitutes in public places shall be detained for not more than five days or fined not more than 500 yuan.
