After receiving the complaint, the law enforcement officers of Pingliang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau conducted an on-site inspection of an automobile repair shop located in Liu Hu West Road, Kongtong District, Pingliang City, and took administrative compulsory measures against the engine oil suspected of infringing Mobil's exclusive right to use a registered trademark. It was confirmed by ExxonMobil (China) Investment Co., Ltd., the registered trademark holder of Mobil, that the Mobil brand engine oil products marked with "Mobil" and "Mobil" seized by law enforcement officers did not meet the genuine characteristics of ExxonMobil products. In this regard, law enforcement officers investigated and dealt with the auto repair shop.

After investigation, the operator of the store could not prove that the "Mobil" brand engine oil sold by him was legally obtained, and he did not know that it was a commodity infringing the exclusive right to use a registered trademark when he sold it. After mediation by law enforcement officers, the store operator returned the payment for Mobil brand engine oil to the complainant, and both parties were satisfied with the mediation results. In addition to the problem of using fake engine oil, law enforcement officers also found that the auto repair factory was ordered to make corrections by Longhua Administration of the Municipal Transportation Bureau on April 25 because it did not keep a record of motor vehicle maintenance, but when law enforcement officers inspected the factory on June 5, the factory was still engaged in motor vehicle maintenance.
