There is only one women's prison in Heilongjiang.

Heilongjiang Women's Prison was established in 1995, formerly known as Gezhi Prison Women's Brigade. It is located in Xuefu Road, Xiangfang District, Harbin. It is the only prison in the province that educates and reforms female prisoners, and it is also one of the prisons open to the outside world in Heilongjiang.
