What if the browser verification code cannot be displayed?

After installing Windows XP SP2, many verification codes cannot be displayed normally. Because most captcha images are in XBM format, windows XP with SP2 does not support this image format.

Automatic change mode:

You can download the registry file and let IE display the verification code normally. Open the import after downloading!

Download address:/FB/FB/spree.reg.

Manually change the method:

The specific operation is as follows:

Click Start → Run, enter "regedit" (without quotation marks) in the run window, and click OK.

Navigate to "HKEY _ Local _ Machine \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Security" and click the right mouse button in the blank space of the right window to create a new "DWOED Value".

Name "newly created value" as "BlockXBM" (without quotation marks).

Then right-click the "BlockXBM" item and change this key value to 8 zeros, as shown in the following figure. Click "OK" to save.

Restart the computer to make the registry effective, and the verification code can be displayed.
