Why can't Huawei p40 receive SMS with verification code?

If your device cannot receive the verification code in the notification bar, go to Settings > Search > Application Management > Information > Notification Management and turn on the notification permission switch.

If your device cannot receive the verification code in the message, please check it according to the following methods:

1. Turn off SMS blocking.

Enter the mobile phone housekeeper > harassment interception > SMS interception rules, and turn off the intelligent interception of spam messages and strange messages.

2. Restart the network

Please go to Settings > Mobile Network, turn on and off the airplane mode switch to restart the network.

3. Set the Information application attached to the system as the default application.

(1) In order to protect your payment security and account security, the system prohibits third-party applications from obtaining the verification code SMS you received. Please enter the settings, search and enter the default application, and set the information as the system default.

(2) If you still need to use a third-party SMS application, please turn off the protection function of the verification code. Closing method: Info > four points >; Settings > verification code security.

4. Restore the default settings.

Please restore the information to the default settings and try again. The path is as follows:

HarmonyOS system: information > four points >; Settings > four o'clock, and select to restore the default settings.

5. Still unable to solve

Plug the SIM card into other mobile phones and see if you can receive the verification code. If you still can't receive it, it may be that the server communication is delayed, which leads to the inability to receive the verification code message. I suggest you consult the corresponding operator feedback.
