How to set up dual card dual standby

Dual-card dual standby is set to allow mobile phones to use two SIM cards at the same time, and to maintain the availability of calls and text messages. Here are some common steps for your reference.

Prepare dual-card mobile phone

First of all, make sure that you are using a mobile phone that supports dual card dual standby function. Most modern smartphones support this feature, but some older models may not. You can check the manual of the mobile phone or confirm whether the dual-card function is supported in the settings of the mobile phone.

Install SIM card

Insert two SIM cards into the SIM card slot of the mobile phone. Usually, the SIM card slot of a mobile phone will be marked with the signs of SIM 1 and SIM2, and you can insert the corresponding card slot as required.

Open the settings menu.

Access to the settings menu of the mobile phone can usually be accessed through the settings icon on the home screen or the settings option on the drop-down notification bar.

Find the dual card setting option.

In the setup menu, find the options related to the SIM card. This is often referred to as "dual card setup", "SIM card management" or similar names.

Enable dual card dual standby

In the dual card setting option, turn on the "dual card dual standby" or similar switch. Some mobile phones will let you choose a primary card and a secondary card. The main card is usually used for voice calls and data use, and the auxiliary card is used for SMS and data backup.

Configure SIM card function
